OUR STORY

Turns out we also like people. We're not making these delicious, one-of-a-kind burger creations to not share them with you. Maybe even, try a Tenderloin, Broasted Chicken, Fish or one of the other menu items. We hope to share them with you, in fact. And soon. So head on in to the nearest (heck, it could even be the furthest) Tootsie's Ice Cream & More location and feast your eyes on the greatest burger ever made. You won't be sorry you did.

How it began...

This is a family owned and operated business. Corey purchased this malt shop to carry on the traditions that have accompanied it. We want to keep the old malt shop feeling but with a new twist. We hope to continue the success and add a few modern features to raise the quality and efficiency. We still want to keep the small town feeling. 

My family & I have lived in the area for 30 years and we understand how important it is to be involved in the community. We welcome everyone to our restaurant and hope that you enjoy our new additions.

We opened another location in La Porte City, IA on the corner of Commercial Street & Main Street. The La Porte City location was formerly the Union Station and we hope to add to its current success. It is a walk up window style restaurant and has tables under a canopy for you to enjoy.

We have started delivery service at the Vinton location ONLY. We have a minimum order of $6.99. $2.00 car delivery fee for in town orders. Call for more details. (319) 472-5300.
